Ceramic instructor at the Saga Art College since 1986, Takumi Sato has exhibited regularly in Japan, undertaken two artist residencies in the USA, as well as participating in group shows in Australia, Korea, Japan and the USA. His work was represented in the Art Gallery of Western Australia, Kutztown University in Pennsylvania, as well as collections in Japan.

The forms being shown on his page have been created during Takumi's current residency at Curtin University of Technology in Perth, Western Australia.
