Takahiko Hayashi (b. 1961) is an award-winning artist with a strong social media following and exhibitions across Japan and also in Portland planned for this year. Ikegami graduated from Musashino Art Academy in Tokyo in 1960 and worked as a graphic designer until the 1980s. He has been exhibiting his original prints since the 1980s with regular exhibits at the prestigious CWAJ (College Women's Association of Japan) as well as exhibits at the Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum, Gallery Tamura in Hiroshima, Kanagawa Prefectural Gallery, Tsutaya Gallery in Kyoto, and many others. Ikegami's work is in the collections of the Rockefeller Foundation, the Singapore National Museum, the Art Gallery of New South Wales, Bank of America, and many other collections.
