I had a dream that I drowned, and after the initial gasping of air, I found I could breathe and realized that I was floating, as a baby, in the universe, which then became the womb.

The text, ‘In order to be born, one must first die, in order to die, one must first be born’, is my adaption of Lucien Carr’s quote: ‘To be reborn, you have to die first’.

The windows, doors and path represent the opportunities and possibilities that we encounter through life until we pass, once again.
